We’ve talked about the tough game plan we had early on and everyone fitting into their own role. And you saw some players really shine in the last game. And I enjoyed listening to everyone’s comments about how often you pressure and stuff, because a lot of it is wrong. But I think we played really well in situational football against SC, you saw that at the end of the half and the end of the game. But people don’t understand that there are actual decisions you make in those situations. Like getting a sack before halftime or stopping the passing play that’s coming right at you when you’re in the fourth quarter.

So I’ve been doing this for 40 years, and yes, Sark is a good offensive coordinator. He has a really good quarterback, and yes, Lincoln Riley has another good quarterback. I mean, those are just the challenges of college football and the challenges of pro football, period. So I think we adjusted and played what we thought was best to win the game because at the end of the week, we just want to be 1-0, just like this week, we just want to be 1-0. We’re not going to get too high. We’re not going to get too low because the season is a constant battle and a constant climb.

So yesterday we had a really good practice and I think it was better than the practice on Tuesday last week and that’s our goal. Today we need to have an even better practice. Just keep going. And I’m really excited to see where we are and where we’re going.
