Strawickl in the spotlight

During the event, wild Strawickl appear clearly. Collectors may be interested in the chance to get a dazzling Strawickl, which will enrich their collection with its rare coloring.

But the event offers even more: When Folikon, the evolution of Strawickl, is evolved into Matrifol during the event or up to five hours afterward, Matrifol will learn the exclusive fast attack “Dark Claw”. This attack does 9 damage in Trainer Battles and 6 damage in Arena or Raid Battles, which could make Matrifol useful in future battles.

Special research for Strawickl fans

For anyone who wants to delve deeper into the world of Strawickl, there is a special paid research project. This brings additional rewards and challenges. A special feature: the ticket for the special research can also be given to friends, provided you have reached at least the “Super Friends” friendship level.

Event bonuses at a glance

A Pokémon GO Community Day wouldn’t be complete without a number of bonuses. For example, there are double catch candies and a four-times faster egg hatch time for Pokémon placed in an incubator during the three-hour event. Players level 31 and above also have an increased chance of receiving XL candies.

Smoke and Lures last for three hours during the event – ideal for attracting even more Strawickl. Additionally, up to two special trades can be made on this day, and each trade costs only half the usual Stardust.

After the event: Bonus raids

The event is not over even after 5 p.m. From 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., trainers can compete against Folikon in level 4 raids. If the raid is successfully completed, more Strawickl will appear in the area around the arena for 30 minutes – shiny ones are also possible. Important: Only raid passes and premium battle passes are permitted for these raids. Remote raid passes do not work here.

Field Research and PokéStop Showcases

During the event, there will be special field research that will provide rewards such as Stardust, Great Balls, and other useful items. Trainers can also take part in PokéStop showcases and show off the Strawwick they have caught.

Anyone who wants to equip themselves for the event can do so from 30. September 2024 in the Pokémon GO webstore a Community Day Hyperbox. It contains 10 Ultra Balls, a Top Charge TM and a Special Research Ticket. There are also two Community Day Boxes available in the in-game shop.
