NFL – Miami Dolphins: Odell Beckham Jr. “is making progress”

The Miami Dolphins may soon have another top receiver at their disposal. Coach Mike McDaniel gives an update on Odell Beckham Jr.

Admittedly, the wide receiver position is currently not the problem for the Miami Dolphins, who will have to do without quarterback Tua Tagovailo for the time being after another concussion.

Substitute Skylar Thompson injured his ribs against the Seattle Seahawks and is also in danger of missing out again. Tim Boyle and Tyler Huntley are the other backups available for action.

Now, at least at the receiver position, the infirmary is starting to clear up. Odell Beckham Jr. may be returning soon – but is currently still on the PUP (Physically Unable to Perform) list.

That can only change after the upcoming Monday Night Game against the Tennessee Titans in week four. The chances of that happening are not bad, as head coach Mike McDaniel told reporters on Tuesday.

“I’ve seen some good progress and I’m optimistic as his window opens. We’ll see how his body responds,” said McDaniel. “I know he’s done a good job and he hasn’t had the setbacks we were so keen to avoid.”

OBJ only sporadically participated in team training during the offseason workouts. His exact injury is still unknown.
