Drunk man throws bottle around

Magdeburg- On Monday morning, an administrative building in Magdeburg Southwest damaged. The perpetrator had had quite a bit of alcohol in him.

At around 11 a.m., a man from Guinea-Bissau caused a disturbance in the social welfare office on Georg-Kaiser-Straße in Sudenburg.

The 30-year-old behaved very aggressively towards the staff in the office, who are also responsible for refugees, and eventually left the building.

According to the Magdeburg police station, he threw a bottle outside, hitting and damaging a window pane. The damage is estimated to be around 500 euros.

The emergency services were quickly called and were able to quickly locate the troublemaker.

“During the check, the police obtained indications that the driver may have been intoxicated,” the statement said.

The 30-year-old was then promptly taken to the hospital to sober up and have a blood sample taken. Due to space constraints, he will have to stay away from the social services office for the next few days.
