NFL: Travis Kelce in poor form

What’s going on with Travis Kelce? Pop superstar Taylor Swift’s boyfriend is ailing, and speculation about the reasons is taking on absurd forms.

The storm is set to break on September 28th, as NFL star Travis Kelce and pop titan Taylor Swift will announce their separation next Saturday.

Fans around the world are already preparing for this sad moment. After all, the glamorous couple have decided “after careful consideration” to “go their separate ways.” At least that’s what it says in the separation agreement drawn up by Kelce’s PR company “Full Scope.”

The only problem is that the document is a fake, and the plan for the alleged separation with step-by-step instructions in the subsequent image communication is simply made up.

Of course, “Full Scope” has long since denied it and initiated legal action, but that didn’t bother the conspiracy theorists among Kelce and Swift’s fans. Many see the singer’s alleged separation as the reason for the tight end from the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs’ current weak phase.

Travis Kelce performed worse with the Chiefs

The NFL season is three games old, and the big question so far is: What’s wrong with Kelce? The 34-year-old was surprisingly ineffective in his Chiefs’ three victories – no touchdowns, just 69 yards gained. Unworthy statistics for someone like Kelce, who is now the highest-paid player in his position. “We need to get Travis more involved,” said his coach Andy Reid.

While Swift cheered on her Travis in the first two games of the season, the singer was absent from the 22:17 loss against the Atlanta Falcons – which of course fueled the rumors of a breakup. TV images show a sad and dejected Kelce on the bench. Did he slack off in training over the summer and flirt too much with his Taylor? Did the $100 million contract for his podcast with brother Jason go to his head?

For Patrick Mahomes, the reasons for the Kelce crisis lie elsewhere – because the opponents have apparently changed their tactics. “The respect they have for Travis is incredible – and it is well deserved,” said the quarterback. “We run a lot of plays for Travis. But it’s as if two or three defenders are covering him.”

Kelce himself tried to remain cool in the midst of all the fuss. “That’s football. I’m not going to sit here and get upset about it,” he said. “I used to get really mad and lose my temper quickly because I wasn’t as successful as I was, because I know that’s what I demand of myself.” I just like playing the game at such a high level that I find it difficult to deal with mediocrity.

Kelce has another chance to show his class on Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers – one day after the alleged separation from Swift.
