These are the regional candidates from the district of Vöcklabruck

DISTRICT. The regional candidates from NEOS, KPÖ and MFG comment on the topics of climate protection, migration, the labor market and education.

In the last issue, Tips interviewed the party leaders from the district of the four major parties. This week, the regional candidates from NEOS, KPÖ and MFG are in the running.

Climate protection

Gabriele Frank from the KPÖ explains: “The climate crisis threatens to deprive us of our livelihoods.” The KPÖ is asking the system question: people should be the focus, not profits. A first step would be to stop excessive soil sealing.”

Ursula Soriat from the MFG criticizes the CO2-Narrative: “CO2 is essential to life, not a climate pollutant. The CO2-related climate catastrophe is not evidence-based. We need a sensible energy policy: a balanced mix of renewable and fossil energies.”

Andreas Tremmel says about climate protection: “NEOS are committed to renewable energies and sustainable mobility.” A result-neutral CO2-Tax should promote climate-friendly innovations. Let’s not limit ourselves to individual sectors – let’s shape our environment together.

migration

Frank from the KPÖ is in favour of the right to vote: “We are a country of immigration.” But instead of well thought-out concepts for integration, there are only hurdles in many places. An ever-increasing proportion of the population is not allowed to vote in Austria. I am in favour of the right to vote for everyone who has lived in Austria for more than a year.”

Soriat (MFG) explains: “The MFG is committed to a clear and.” a comprehensive migration and asylum policy that protects the interests of Austria and its citizens in the ⋌foreground⋌.”

Tremmel (NEOS) thinks about the labour market: “Qualified immigration is crucial to address the shortage of skilled workers.” Asylum seekers should be easier Having access to the labour market – this promotes integration and directly reduces social spending.”

Labour market and education

On the subject of the labor market and education, Frank (KPÖ) explains: “Our prosperity is earned by all of us: in the company, in care or unpaid at home.” Reducing working hours with full wage and staff compensation creates more time for life and the possibility of distributing unpaid work at home more fairly. Our education system stands for unequal opportunities. It is geared towards adaptation and selection. We are committed to a common compulsory school for all, which recognizes and takes into account different social and health educational requirements.

Soriat (MFG) says: “Measures to alleviate the shortage of skilled workers would be to remove the additional income limits in the corridor pension and to exempt earned income from pension insurance contributions if people work beyond the standard retirement age.” MFG is committed to individual education that is tailored to the needs of every child. Home schooling should be given equal status.” Tremmel (NEOS) says: “The domestic economy is suffering from too much bureaucracy and stagnation instead of growth. Employees cost too much and earn too little. NEOS is committed to the sustainable development of working people and domestic companies. We want a modern school system with the best educational opportunities, more school autonomy and a legal right to childcare from the first birthday.
