EA SPORTS NHL 25: Soundtrack and Grudge Match System

EA SPORTS releases the soundtrack to NHL 25 and gives further insights into the Grudge Match system

EA SPORTS releases the soundtrack for NHL 25. The soundtrack features some well-known artists and bands from the alternative rock scene such as Green Day, Alkaline Trio and Dead Poet Society.

Featuring 42 tracks from established and up-and-coming artists, the guitar-heavy soundtrack will get players in the right mood for the duel on the ice.

In addition to the release of the NHL 25 soundtrack, EA SPORTS also gives a closer look at the new Grudge Match system:

Grudge Match in Franchise, Season and Be a Pro
Every NHL team will have historical rivals (at least one) that influence the Grudge Match system throughout the course of the season. These rivalries are based on relevant team relationships in hockey, with some storied franchises having a wider selection of rivalries due to their extensive history in the league.

Additionally, newly created rivalries can be lost due to certain game outcomes, making the gaming experience in NHL 25 even more dynamic.

Grudge Match in EASHL and HUT Rivals
Fans who participate in these online modes will develop different rivalries over the course of NHL 25. Hard-fought games can shape the relationship between teams and create rivalries. As players and clubs return again and again, Grudge Matches also take on importance.

Grudge Match Impact Players
There will be one Impact Player in each Grudge Match. Impact Players are determined by their performance and statistics from past duels and receive certain Impact X-Factors in the Grudge Matches.

Grudge Match Presentation
Grudge Matches feature a variety of presentation elements that reflect the intensity of the games, including cheers or boos from the crowd, new reactions from coaches, and player-specific in-game stats that highlight important stories and statistics tied to the rivalry and the teams’ past matches.
