At a League of Legends event hosted by MrBeast in July 2022, two different poles met: LoL rager Tyler1 and every mother-in-law’s favorite, Ludwig Ahgren. Since this 2022 event, Tyler1 has considered the YouTube star to be the worst LoL player of all time. But Ludwig just wants the two to be friends. The 29-year-old sneaks into a meet & greet with Tyler1 at TwitchCon 2024, in disguise of course.

What’s up with those two?

Tyler1 and Ludwig were on a team together at a charity event hosted by MrBeast in July 2022. LoL pros were invited, but also some streamers who only play LoL as a hobby – and Ludwig, who considers himself a huge gamer but has no idea about LoL.

In the match, Ludwig played poorly and didn’t seem to mind. He hadn’t prepared, had trouble following instructions, and generally seemed to be having fun while completely failing. For Tyler1, this is an unmistakable character flaw: if you’re going to lose in LoL, you should suffer.

Ludwig, on the other hand, says that he had two mega players on his team, Tyler1 and Doublelift, who should have won on their own. It couldn’t be that it was his fault because he played worse games than Mizkif or Emiru. He obviously didn’t take the event seriously.

After the last match, which Tyler1 won, he accused Ludwig on stage, saying that Ludwig was an “absolute weak link.” He didn’t pay attention, didn’t listen to instructions, and would have easily lost the match single-handedly (via x).

Ludwig seeks the proximity of Tyler1, but he only scolds him

This was the saga up to this point: Although the event is long over and was no big deal for Ludwig, Tyler1 still harbors a deep grudge against Ludwig and insults him whenever anyone mentions Ludwig. For Tyler1, Ludwig is a “bastard,” “dogshit,” “disgusting,” and “the worst person ever.”

For Ludwig, it is almost unbearable that someone he admires so much, as Tyler1 repeatedly talks about in streams, considers Ludwig to be a more terrible and evil person.

Tyler1 criticizes everything about him, even the head movement Ludwig makes when he dies in LoL.

In the past, Ludwig has repeatedly sought to get close to Tyler1 and, for example, donated money to him in a stream to invite Tyler1 to an event. But the LoL rage-monger has repeatedly blocked this.

As soon as he finds out that Ludwig is behind a donation, he insults him viciously.

Ludwig sneaks into a Meet & Greet with Tyler1 at TwitchCon in disguise

This is Ludwig’s latest prank: At TwitchCon 2024, Ludwig sneaked near Tyler1 wearing a Covid mask and took a nice photo at a meet & greet.

But when Tyler1 recognized Ludwig’s face, he yelled at him and insulted him again. He was just “dog shit.”

Ludwig can’t understand any of this. He was just bad at LoL once. You play fiddlesticks badly once and you get flamed for the rest of your life.

But for Tyler1 it is unmistakable.

Should this be taken seriously? Both streamers play partly fictional characters and flirt with their image: Tyler1 as a mini version of Hulk, Ludwig as a clumsy theater kid and nerd who always puts on an insecure grin when he hears insults directed at him.
