MLPD investigates drive-by shooting on North Buell Drive

LAKE MOSES – According to a press release from the MLPD, Moses Lake Police responded to a drive-by shooting incident at approximately 3:11 a.m. on September 8 at the intersection of North Buell Drive and West Gary Street.

Upon arrival, officers found several spent shell casings and confirmed that both a residence and a vehicle had been struck by gunfire. No injuries were reported.

After the incident, a black or gray car was seen fleeing the scene. According to MLPD Captain Jeff Sursely, there is no update.

According to the MLPD press release, the MLPD is asking residents in the neighborhood to check their surveillance footage for signs of a dark colored sedan driving by at the indicated time. If residents see the vehicle, they are asked to call the MLPD at 509-764-3887 and request to speak to Detective Guerrero at reference number 24ML13409.
