Vance prepared meticulously for the duel against the popular waltz

Senator JD Vance has been preparing intensively for the upcoming vice presidential debate against Governor Tim Walz. He is receiving support from Representative Tom Emmer, ABC News reports.

Vance is using Emmer, who is imitating Walz, to match his people-oriented personality. Emmer is the third-highest ranking Republican in the House of Representatives. According to ABC News, Vance’s preparations took place both at his home in Cincinnati and online. Jason Miller, an adviser to former President Donald Trump, is also involved and is helping with the strategic direction.

“Vance Plant, portray Walz as too liberal”

“Vance plans to portray Walz as too liberal and to address his policies in Minnesota,” according to ABC News. Vance’s wife, Usha Vance, a Yale graduate and former law clerk, is also assisting in the preparations. She brings her legal expertise and helps analyze possible questions and answers.

Vance and his team focused on different scenarios and analyzed videos of Walz’s previous debates to better understand his debating style. Emmer and Vance implemented these insights into several practice sessions to ensure Vance was prepared for any possible turn of the debate.

Walz relies on Transport Minister

Walz was preparing at the same time as Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg. Buttigieg, who is considered an experienced debater, is expected to help Walz develop powerful arguments against Vance. According to ABC News, Walz also held intensive political consultation sessions with his team and former Biden administration staff to prepare as best as possible.

The debate will be hosted by CBS News in New York City on October 1. Both moderators are known for their incisive questions and ability to put pressure on candidates.
