‘The Voice’ hopeful misses out, but thanks to Snoop Dogg doesn’t go home empty-handed

The voice has been running successfully since 2011 and kicks off its 26th season on Monday night (September 23). A new generation of up-and-coming artists are vying for their chance at the $100,000 grand prize and a recording contract with Universal Music Group. Season 26 also features some new faces, including coaches for newcomers Michael Bublé and Snoop Dogg, who join veterans Reba McEntire and Gwen Stefani. And despite not advancing in the competition, one Dallas artist is leaving with a memory to last a lifetime.

Snoop Dogg exchanges gifts with “The Voice” contestant

Amanda Bongiovanni (aka RAVS) was born and raised in Richardson, Texas, and has had a passion for music since birth. The visual artist took the stage for her blind audition on Monday (September 23) and sang “Say So” by Doja Cat.

Unfortunately, none of the coaches turned their chairs around for RAVS. This means that their time on The voice is over, as is her chance at the $100,000 grand prize or the recording contract with Universal Music Group.

RAVS didn’t leave the set empty-handed, however. The aspiring musician gave her coach Snoop Dogg a vest that she had painted herself. In return, the 52-year-old West Coast icon gave her a necklace from Death Row Records.

If you are not making progress on The voiceA Snoop Dogg necklace is not a bad consolation prize.

Viewers are already demanding the return of RAVS

Although RAVS may not have achieved the desired result, The voiceshe has actually gained several fans, with many viewers expressing their desire to see her in a future season via social media.

“Come back Ravs!” wrote one viewer on X/Twitter.

While another viewer was not a fan They hoped that “she doesn’t see this as a negative experience and improves her craft,” and talked about RAVS’ song selection.

“But I love Snoops and everyone’s encouragement,” said another viewer. intervened“Sometimes it’s not about being great, it’s about doing what makes you happy.”
