Ganges pipe leaks, water drips from taps in Gr Noida | Noida News

Noida: A leak in the Ganges pipeline caused Water shortage in several Greater Noida and Greater Noida West sectors.
Harinder Bhati, a resident of Beta 1, said that since Sunday the Water supply The pressure in the sector is low. “There was no water supply on Monday,” he said.
Sector Alpha faced similar problems. Rajesh Gautam, Senior Manager at GNIDA Water Department said there was a leak in the Ganga water main near the Alpha trade belt. Work was being done to resolve the problem, he added.
Residents of Sector 3 Greater Noida West also reported water shortage due to a leak in the supply line. “Even the old connection has been closed,” said Sanjay Singh, a resident of Sector 3.
Sushil Kumar, another resident, expressed his frustration. He said he was tired of waiting for a solution and asked for the contact number of a submersible pump supplier.
Sandeep Sagar, technical director of GNIDA’s water department, said corrective measures were being taken.
In Ghaziabad, wards 27 and 95 in the Vijay Nagar area were also affected by supply shortages on Monday.
