Exciting duel between UFC Drosendorf and USV Pleißing/W. ended 4:2 – Football Lower Austria – results, tables and scorers from all Lower Austria leagues.

In the sixth game of the 2nd class Thayatal (Lower Austria), UFC Drosendorf and USV Pleißing/W. met in front of about 120 spectators. The party, which was characterized by high intensity and exciting twists and turns, ended with a 4:2 win for the hosts. Despite a good performance by the guests from Pleißing, their efforts were not enough to defeat the determined team from Drosendorf.

A perfect start for the hosts

The start of the game was promising for the home team. In the 20th minute, Kilian Pfeiffer scored the 1-0 for UFC Drosendorf, which marked the start of an eventful game. But the guests’ response was not long in coming. Just ten minutes later, in the 30th minute, Milos Andrejic provided a perfect pass from Seiter to equalize at 1-1.

However, Drosendorf remained unfazed and continued their attacks. In the 35th minute, Maximilian Aflenzer put the hosts back in the lead. Aflenzer’s shot eventually found its way into the net and the home team went into halftime with a 2-1 lead.

Suspense until the end

Even after the break, the party remained exciting. In the 48th minute, the Pleißinger goalkeeper showed his class again and prevented another goal from Drosendorf. But in the 79th minute, Leonhard Haberl was able to extend the hosts’ lead to 3:1.

However, the guests from Pleißing did not give up. In the 83rd minute, Philipp Resel scored the goal to make it 3-2, keeping the guests’ hopes of an equaliser alive. The final phase of the game was characterised by exciting scenes and great goalkeeping performances.

In the 91st minute, Jindrich Stransky scored the decisive 4:2 for UFC Drosendorf. The shot initially hit the crossbar, but Stransky used the second chance and gave the ball away in the net. Shortly afterwards, Jan Mikloska from USV Pleißing/W. received a yellow-red card, and the guests finished the match with 10 men.

With this exciting and goal-rich game, UFC Drosendorf secured a well-deserved victory. Despite the commitment and strong performance of USV Pleißing/W., Drosendorf left the field as winners and consolidated their position in the 2nd class Thayatal.
