The Script have been announced as the first headliners of next year’s Forest Live concerts.

The Irish pop-rockers, known worldwide for hits such as “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved”, “Hall Of Fame” and “Breakeven”, will take the stage at High Lodge on Friday 20 June.

Following the death of founding member Mark Sheehan last year, the band said the best way to honor him was to maintain connections with their music community.

The Script has been streamed over 10 billion times worldwide, has two platinum-certified US singles, six number one albums in the UK and over four million tickets sold worldwide.

The High Lodge gig will be followed by a world tour.
