Now in fashion: curly hairstyles for men

Whether natural or enhanced: hair styling with curls is currently popular among men. According to the portal “Haut.de”, they give a less powerful look than straight, gelled hair. And there are many different curly hairstyles – for different hair lengths.

The hairstyle looks wild and casual if the side hair is cut short and the voluminous curls only appear on the top of the head. Short, curly hair can also be combined well with a proper undercut. According to «Haut.de», the short shaved sides and neck areas make the curls stand out even more.

Another option: the so-called fringe. Here, the sides and neck areas are cut a little shorter, and the hair on the top of the head and forehead is worn longer. The Central Association of German Hairdressers sees one of the trend looks for autumn and winter as a style known as a “cherub skirt”, where the sides are significantly shorter than the top of the head – and the hair falls curly onto the forehead. According to the Central Association, a light shine spray emphasizes the “exciting texture”.

Layered cut brings more volume

Are your curls medium length? Then you can try a side parting or simply comb your hair back, recommends «Haut.de». A light layered cut provides additional lightness and even more volume.

The trendy hairstyle “Night Ride” is also voluminous and is presented by the Central Association of German Hairdressers as one of the trend looks for the season: the hair on the sides flows curled to just above the shoulders, the bangs are short and very wavy. A “reference to glam rock” cannot be overlooked in the hairstyle, according to the association – it is worked with plenty of curl cream and air-dried or blow-dried with a diffuser.
