Rhea Ripley reveals which WWE Superstars she would choose for the Survivor Series: WarGames team

Rhea Ripley reveals which WWE Superstars she would choose for the Survivor Series: WarGames team

Rhea Ripley had the honor of being part of the first Survivor Series WarGames women’s match in 2019. Since then, she has competed in two WarGames matches in 2020 and 2022. Now, the Eradicator has named the female Superstars she would like to team up with in the upcoming Survivor Series 2024 WarGames match.

During a recent Casual Conversations chat with The Classic, Ripley revealed which team she would choose if she were captain of the WarGames team this year.

“It would be me; I would say it would probably be Bianca [Belair]jade [Cargill]get the team, the tag champions. Who else would I choose? I think I would – it’s difficult because they don’t get along. I would have said IYO [Sky] and Kairi [Sane] because IYO has been in a few and… well, she’s been in a lot of them and won a lot of WarGames, and then there’s Kairi… she just never gives up. She’s slammed her face into the announce table and just kept going,” Wrestling Inc. quoted Ripley as saying.

Rhea Ripley has yet to team with Bianca Belair in a WarGames match, although they were opponents in 2019 and 2022. Sky and Ripley have been both opponents and teammates in the double cage structure, as Rhea Ripley’s team defeated Sky’s team in 2019 before ending up on the same team in 2020 and 2022, both of which she lost.

As for Ripley, the former WWE Women’s World Champion is currently involved in a bitter feud with Liv Morgan. Ripley, along with Damian Priest, defeated Morgan and Dominik Mysterio at WWE Bash in Berlin PLE on August 31, 2024.

However, Ripley still has one task to complete. She has to wrest the WWE Women’s World Championship back from Morgan. Ripley defended the title against Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 40. The next day, Morgan attacked Ripley and caused a serious shoulder injury that put Rhea in rehab for more than two months.

Meanwhile, Morgan won the WWE Women’s World Championship from Lynch at the King and Queen of the Ring tournament on May 25. Since then, Morgan has retained her WWE title and even defended it against Ripley at SummerSlam 2024. Now, the two are expected to face each other at Bad Blood on October 5, 2024.
