The Riverhounds’ 2024 season

As the Riverhounds’ season comes to a close, the team finds itself battling for a playoff spot.

The season did not start out particularly well for the team, but by mid-July the Riverhounds had a winning streak that lasted ten games and almost two months.

In these ten games, the Riverhounds had five wins and five draws.

The winning streak ended in mid-September with a 1-2 away defeat against the Tampa Bay Rowdies.

Heading into Saturday’s home game against the Birmingham Legion, the Riverhounds are just two points behind 8th and 9th-place Loudoun United and Hartford Athletic, and five points behind 6th and 7th-place Indy Eleven and Rhode Island.

The team still has five games left:

• Saturday, October 5 – Miami vs. Riverhounds – 7:00 p.m.
• Saturday, October 12 – Riverhounds vs. Charleston – 7 p.m.
• Saturday, October 19 – Loudoun vs. Riverhounds – 6 p.m.
• Saturday, October 26 – Riverhounds vs. El Paso – 7 p.m.
