Bison video blog: Colorado game preview – InForum

The opening game of North Dakota State’s 2024 football season is just days away, as Thursday night the Bison will face a member of the Big 12 Conference for the fifth time since 2010 when they face Colorado.

The Bison will be missing two of their All-Americans from last season: safety Cole Wisniewski and fullback Hunter Brozio, both of whom are out with lower leg injuries. Brozio’s career is over, and Wisniewski’s status is uncertain after the Colorado game.

WDAY’s Dom Izzo and The Forum’s Jeff Kolpack return to the Bison Video Blog every Monday to look ahead to the Buffaloes game and what a spectacle it will be with Pro Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders on the other sideline.

Colorado has 41 new players on its 2024 roster after Sanders continued to use the transfer portal to find a roster to his liking. His two sons, Shedeur and Shilo, are standout players, as is Travis Hunter, who transferred from Jackson State.

Hunter was the most recruited player in the country that Sanders signed to Jackson State in 2021 when he was coach there. Hunter followed Sanders to Colorado when Deion was hired in December 2022.

The guys discuss the changes to the Bison offensive line and where Cole Payton might be on the field during this game.

The Bison video blog will appear every Monday on Inforum.com throughout the season.

Dom Izzo is the sports director for WDAY-TV. He started working at WDAY in 2006 as a weekend sports anchor and was promoted to sports director in 2010.
