Myrtle Beach – NMB releases Fall Festival schedule MyrtleBeachSC News

As the summer season draws to a close, Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach officials have released their Fall Festival event calendar. The highlight of each year is the Thompson Farms venue, which is not to be missed.

Autumn Festival Events

21 and 22 September 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thompson Farms will officially kick off the 16th Anniversary Fall Festival event season. Events during these days include a family play area, animal feedings, a corn maze, and more!

On September 14th, Thompson Farm at Brickyard Plantation will host the 3rd Annual Taste of the Maze event from 5:00pm-9:00pm. It’s an adult night at the farm like no other! Explore the 2024 corn maze while sampling a variety of beer and wine!

Autumn Festival Events

Brookgreen Gardens will host Harvest Home Fall Festival events on the weekend of Saturday, October 5th from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday, October 6th from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

September festival and grape stomping at the Duplin winery, 21 September 2024
A celebration of harvest and wine with festive activities for all ages, live music and grape stomping at Barefoot Landing’s Dockside Village.

Crooktoberfest, September-October 2024
Stop by Crooked Hammock Brewery where beer drinkers, family fun-lovers and foodies can enjoy new brews, Bavarian decorations, Oktoberfest beer trivia, live polka music, a kids’ craft table where little ones can make their own alpine hats, a German-inspired menu and more fall festival events.

Irish-Italian International Festival, 28 September 2024
Live entertainment, artisan vendors and delicious international food draw thousands to Main Street to celebrate Irish and Italian culture. The spaghetti eating contest is a crowd favorite.

Oktoberfest, October 5, 2024
German and fall-themed food and drinks, special discounts, live music and a dachshund competition at Barefoot Landing.

Shrimp Festival at Little River, 12-13 October 2024

The nearby Little River waterfront serves fresh local shrimp and seafood, with live music and over 100 vendors.

Unique holiday events

Storming through the glow, 22 and 23 November 2024
Be one of the first to see the lights during this two-mile, non-competitive walk/run through the Great Christmas Light Show. Get in the Christmas spirit and wear a Christmas-themed outfit. Prizes will be awarded to the best-dressed individual and best-dressed family. The walk/run ends at Santa’s Village where you can enjoy a cup of hot chocolate and try out some of the activities. This walk/run takes place on the Great Christmas Light Show route at North Myrtle Beach Park & ​​Sports Complex.

Great Christmas light show, November–December 2024

This two-mile light show, held at the North Myrtle Beach Park & ​​Sports Complex, includes over two million lights on 500 displays. Stop by Santa’s Village for hot chocolate and a visit with Santa himself. The displays include 30 animated characters and Christmas scenes that magically come to life, as well as a rocking musical section synchronized to the sounds of the season.

Intracoastal Christmas Regatta, November–December 2024

The holiday fun begins with the Intracoastal Christmas Regatta, which starts from Little River Inlet and heads south to North Myrtle Beach.

North Pole Express CruiseDecember 2024
Enjoy an evening of Christmas magic aboard the Barefoot Queen Riverboat. The cruise includes the story of The Polar Express, your very own Believe Ticket, a surprise visit from Santa with a special delivery, and an assortment of Christmas snacks and hot chocolate. Guests can also join Santa in packing a bag of reindeer food to take home after the cruise to feed Rudolph and all his friends on Christmas Eve.

Known as “The Christmas Show of the South,” the Carolina Opry Christmas Special is Myrtle Beach’s original Christmas show. It is an unforgettable holiday experience featuring over 35 of the country’s most talented performers, a real horse-drawn sleigh, stunning costumes and enchanting effects.

40th annual Christmas cantata for the whole city, 7-8 December 2024
Presented by the City of North Myrtle Beach, church choirs from the North Myrtle Beach area will come together to Christmas joy through singing.
