Big Sonos leak, Apple Intelligence will speak German from 2025, and much more.

It’s a new Sunday morning and of course here we have a summary of some of the important tech news from the last few days. On top of that, we also have the start of autumn today, so get used to the different weather. But for some companies, especially in the EU, things are getting tougher.

The EU has set its sights on Apple and is currently taking a closer look at whether and how the Cupertino company is meeting its interoperability obligations or can meet them in the future. This could of course be a positive turn of events for customers. Perhaps some people will be happy that Xiaomi will be introducing its Mix Flip for the international market in September. The folding device should also come to Europe.

Even more news from Apple: In 2025, Apple Intelligence will learn to speak German. However, that doesn’t mean that Apple’s AI suite will appear here. And then there was an exciting leak about the upcoming audio products Sonos Arc Ultra and Sub 4. The two devices can already be seen in numerous pictures. The US prices have also been leaked: They are said to be 999 and 799 US dollars respectively.

Apple releases new operating systems and these are our tests from last weekend

Apple also released numerous new operating systems at the beginning of the week. Smartphones and tablets received iOS 18 and iPadOS 18, respectively. Apple TVs, on the other hand, were upgraded to tvOS 18. And anyone who worked with a Mac could look forward to macOS 15 Sequoia. But we also don’t want to forget watchOS 11, which is now available for Apple’s smartwatches. And then there’s the Apple Vision Pro, which received an update to visionOS 2.

Last weekend we of course published a few tests on the blog. For example, Benny shared his test report on the Google Pixel Watch 3 with you. Caschy took another look at the Anker Solix FS20 set. This is a new solar panel. And I devoted myself to gaming, or more specifically to the strategy game “Age of Mythology: Retold”.
