SJHN Daily: Pavelski at Penguins practice, Sharks unveil Center Ice logo

Joe Pavelski at Pittsburgh Penguins training?!

Penguins sports reporters spotted the recently retired San Jose Sharks and Dallas Stars legend at Pittsburgh’s training camp.

Who knows if that means anything—I’m sure both San Jose and Dallas would welcome Pavelski into their lineups or front offices, and Pittsburgh probably would, too—but Pavelski certainly has good reasons to be in Pennsylvania.

Sean Shapiro noted that Pavelski’s son Nathan was playing in a tournament in Pittsburgh this weekend. Matt Vensel of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette added that it was a major tournament, the USHL Fall Classic.

Yes, he is old enough to play in it!

So the mystery is solved?
