Joshua vs. Dubois time, highlights, pre-fight results

Joshua vs. Dubois time, highlights, pre-fight results

The heavyweight fight between Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois on Saturday is scheduled for 12 rounds. The chances of it going that far are slim.

Almost 90 percent of the boxers’ 54 fights ended by knockout. This includes every one of them being knocked out.

There is a lot at stake for the attackers.

Joshua (28-3 with 25 KOs) and Dubois (21-2, 20 KOs) will fight for the IBF heavyweight title and will likely face the winner of the fight between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury on December 21. Pretty unlikely.

In 2022, Joshua was written off – at least figuratively – after two consecutive losses to Usyk. Since then, he has won four fights in a row, but the caliber of the competition is questionable.

In his last fight, Joshua, a two-time heavyweight champion, knocked out Francis Ngannou, the former UFC champion who was fighting only his second professional boxing fight. Dubois was knocked out by Usyk in 2023. Since then, he has won two fights in a row, victories over Jarrell Miller and Filip Hrgovic – by knockout, of course

Dubois’ eighth-round TKO of Hrgovic in June earned him the then interim IBF title.
