The teardowns of new Apple devices are now not long in coming. Just a few hours after the iPhone 16 models went on sale, you can already take a look inside the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max on YouTube.

A six-minute video was published on the REWA Technology channel in which the iPhone 16 Pro is disassembled and the most important components are compared with the parts used in the previous model, the iPhone 15 Pro.

REWA is new to us in this segment. It is a repair service provider based in Hong Kong that also sells the tools and equipment needed for such operations.

Battery with almost 10 percent more capacity

One of the notable differences between the iPhone 16 Pro and the previous model from last year is the battery, which is housed in a metal case – this was already discussed in the summer. At 3,582 mAh, the capacity of the battery installed in the iPhone 16 Pro is almost ten percent higher than the 3,274 mAh of the battery in the iPhone 15 Pro.

The robot voice accompanying the video may be informative, but we generally prefer the comments from “real people.” In this context, ifixit should soon satisfy with its first and well-founded look at the inner workings of the iPhone 16.
