Climate strike and parking day in Düsseldorf

The climate movement”Fridays for the future” has called for a demonstration through the city center. The demonstration starts at 4 p.m. after a rally at Schadowplatz. It then goes through the old town and Graf-Adolf-Platz to Königsallee. There the “Parking Day” of Students for Future takes place – with live music and a closing rally. Parking Day is an annual day of action on which parking spaces in public streets are used – for example as a food sharing station, for concerts or readings.

Activities in the city centre

The demonstration begins at Schadowplatz and leads through the old town and Graf-Adolf-Platz to Königsallee. There you will find the “Park day” with a variety of activities.
