Kristen Bell and Adam Brody haven’t seen “Veronica Mars” and “The OC”

Kristen Bell and Adam Brody admitted they haven’t watched the shows that launched each other’s careers.

Bell played in Veronica Mars as a teenage private investigator who delves into the lives of the rich and famous in the fictional beach town of Neptune. Brody hosted another California-focused show, The OKin which he played the nerdy but somehow cool Seth Cohen, the creator of Chrismukkah.

The Nobody wants that Co-stars came by Armchair Expert with Dax Shepardmoderated by Bell’s husband to talk about their upcoming Netflix romance series. During their nearly two-hour conversation, the actors admitted that they hadn’t seen the hit series from the early 2000s.

“I have never seen an episode of The OK“, Bell confessed, as Brody and Shepard burst out laughing. She did admit, however, that she thought the actor was cute at the time. She added, “Was I having a crush on Adam now? Of course. Everyone was.”

Although this realization could have been embarrassing, Brody is in the same boat. “I have never seen an episode of Veronica Mars”, he said, which she found shocking. “That hurts,” The good place Star remarked, “That hurt?” Fleishman is in trouble asked the actor. Bell replied: “Yeah, a little bit.”

The podcast host defended his wife and stressed that it was okay that she had not seen The OK but Brody wasn’t watching Veronica Mars was “amoral”. The Frozen Voice star explained that she is always “reluctant to admit” that she has not seen The OK because she has so many friends who were there.

“I was very close to Rachel [Bilson]I still am,” Bell said of the actress, who plays lead character Summer Roberts. Shepard then noted that she was in her 20s at the time and didn’t really watch much TV because she was “out there enjoying her life.”

Brody had the same experience. “I wasn’t going to watch a lot of high school shows. I went to Sunset 5 [movie theater],” The Shazam Star explains.

“I have never seen The OKbut I worshipped Adam,” Bell concluded. “Of course. Everyone did. Everyone does. And I still do.”

All episodes of Nobody wants that Debuts on Netflix on September 26th.
