Danny Kanell criticizes Ohio State for weak schedule and uses Michigan’s defeats

Of course, Michigan football fans have their own issues with former Florida State quarterback Danny Kanell after he harshly criticized the Wolverines in the wake of the Connor Stalions saga, but this will help get them back on his side.

Kanell has been outspoken in recent weeks about Ohio State’s weak non-conference schedule this year, and has received a lot of criticism from south Monroe County. Kanell was by no means saying the Buckeyes aren’t good, but that doesn’t mean the schedule is top-notch and their performances against weaker teams are particularly impressive.

But he fights back against the resistance and uses the Michigan Wolves football to do so.

Your schedule can suck AND your team can be great.

A concept that some fans find hard to grasp. I guess if I had been beaten up by my rival three years in a row, I’d be a little sensitive too…

Of course, Michigan has been criticized for its weak non-conference schedule the last two years, but it has had strong early opponents most years and it is the same again this year with Texas coming to the Big House. But the Wolverines won the national championship last year and it remains to be seen if Ohio State can replicate the Wolverines’ recent success.
