Klopp and Helene Fischer join forces

Jürgen Klopp has earned millions as a coach in Dortmund and Liverpool. The coaching legend has now invested part of this money in a Berlin start-up together with pop icon Helene Fischer.

Since leaving Liverpool FC in May, Jürgen Klopp has finally had enough time for himself. The stressful time as coach of the traditional English club certainly left its mark on the 57-year-old. The former BVB coach is now paying even more attention to his health. This is also reflected in his investments.

The trainer legend is now working together with pop icon Helene Fischer. Both are investing in a Berlin start-up that produces healthy breakfast products. The company Wholey offers muesli, cereals, granolas, smoothie bowls and shakes that are plant-based, organic and free of refined sugar.

The Klopp family chooses Wholey

Together with his wife Ulla and their sons, the family decided to invest. “My wife Ulla and I have resolved to grow old healthy and fit.” In our eyes, nutrition plays a key role in this. “However, we are a generation that does not necessarily have the greatest know-how,” says Klopp. The family was therefore immediately enthusiastic about the founders’ mission.

The three founders Philipp Stahr, Alexander Stahr and Casimir Carmer are also happy about their prominent new additions. “Both share our approach from the bottom of their hearts,” says Philipp Stahr. “Helene Fischer and her family eat very consciously. The same applies to the Klopp family: In a conversation with Jürgen Klopp, his wife and their two sons, it turned out that they too had been waiting for products like ours.”

Fischer becomes brand ambassador

Helene Fischer will not only invest her money in the start-up. She is so convinced by the concept of the three founders that she will also act as a brand ambassador for the company in the future.

The start-up now offers its products in more than 7,000 supermarkets.
