Katja Krasavice shoots against Dieter Bohlen

No matter how strong the headwind is, Katja Krasavice won’t let herself be defeated. At the start of DSDS, she lashed out at head judge Dieter Bohlen in an interview with t-online.

Although it was said that DSDS was to be canceled, there is no end in sight for the casting show. And so RTL will be broadcasting the 21st season of the successful format from Wednesday. In addition to Dieter Bohlen, the two winners of previous seasons, Pietro Lombardi and Beatrice Egli, as well as singer Loredana are on the jury.

Last year, Katja Krasavice gave credit to the candidates’ singing skills. Her public dispute with the self-proclaimed pop titan dominated the headlines. The 27-year-old will boycott the new season, as she recently revealed to t-online on “Tribute to Bambi”.

“I’ve come to terms with it. I would never go back. I feel sorry for the jurors who were there before me. They didn’t say anything about it, they let everything happen to them,” says Katja Krasavice, criticizing the silence of her predecessor Dieter Bohlen’s dominant appearance on the show.

“It will always continue like this, even in future seasons,” she believes, and reports from her own experience: “Behind the scenes, it’s just not as nice as it seems in front of the camera.”

The rapper has developed a thick skin that not only empowers her to defend herself against Dieter Bohlen, but also to deal with hate on the internet. “Cyberbullying is basically my whole career. I am a woman who is very strong in her demeanor, in her appearance, in the way she dresses and puts on make-up. And I think a lot of people just don’t like that because it’s untypical.

She suspects that many people are of the opinion that a woman should behave differently. “Then I get a slap for it. But I clap back – and I clap harder. And now I’m standing here and I’ve gotten everything I wanted. Cyberbullying hasn’t managed to bring me down either.”
