Miami puts Tagovailoa on the last list

After his third concussion in three years, football star Tua Tagovailoa of the Miami Dolphins will be out for some time. The NFL franchise from Florida placed its quarterback on the last list on Tuesday. This means that Tagovailoa will be missing from his team for at least four weeks, and the 26-year-old could return to the field on October 27 at the earliest against the Arizona Cardinals.

On Thursday (local time) in the game against the Buffalo Bills (10:31) at the end of the third quarter, Tagovailoa collided headfirst with Damar Hamlin’s upper arm and fell to the ground. His fingers cramped and the Hawaiian had to undergo lengthy treatment. He was then able to leave the field on his own.

Even before the Dolphins made their decision, ESPN had reported that the quarterback would seek help from a neurologist this week. Experts and former players are recommending that Tagovailoa quit football. The 26-year-old himself had already considered retiring from the NFL last year.
