Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Kolhapur-Pune Vande Bharat Express on September 16. This semi-high speed train will cover a distance of 326 km in just 5 hours and 15 minutes. The Kolhapur-Pune Vande Bharat Express will run three days a week and will begin operations on September 18.

This new service will reduce the travel time between Kolhapur and Pune by almost two hours as compared to the existing Mahalaxmi and Koyna Express trains.

Train no. 20673: Departs Kolhapur at 8:15 am and arrives Pune at 1:30 pm on Thursdays, Saturdays and Mondays.

Train No. 20674: Leaves Pune at 2:15 pm and reaches Kolhapur at 7:40 pm on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

This medium speed train stops at Miraj, Sangli, Kirloskarwadi, Karad and Satara stations on the route between Pune and Kolhapur.
