Caren Miosga: As the demonstrators are led out of the studio, Caren Miosga has another tip

The ARD talk show “Caren Miosga” was disrupted by demonstrators, apparently in connection with the death of two Kurdish journalists. Shortly after a conversation between the presenter and the North Rhine-Westphalian Prime Minister Hendrik Wüst (CDU), shouts suddenly rang out from the back rows of the studio audience, which were initially difficult to understand.

Cloths bearing the portraits of two women bearing the names of Gulistan Tara and Hero Bahadin were held up. According to earlier information from the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ), these are two Kurdish journalists who were killed on August 23 in a Turkish drone attack in the Kurdish region of northern Iraq, along with six other people.

Protesters should write to the editorial office

The silence had to be broken, shouted an activist. Miosga asked the shouting women to state their concerns or leave the studio.

Apparently the activists were then led out of the studio – invisibly to television viewers – because Miosga thanked them for leaving the studio and advised them to write to the editors. After a few minutes the incident was over.
