iOS 18, iPadOS 18 and macOS Sequoia are coming on September 16th – is your device included?

The new major updates for iPhones, iPads, Macs and watches are official. The updates bring numerous new functions, although we still have to wait for the AI functions of Apple Intelligence on iPhones and iPads in this country. Nevertheless, Apple has some feature highlights ready since the AI that we can look forward to.

We’ll tell you which devices will receive the updates on September 16th.

Apple has good news for iPhone owners: All iPhones that have received the update to iOS 17 can also prepare to install iOS 18. This means that all devices from the iPhone XR and newer will receive the new version of the iPhone operating system.

According to Apple, this is because these functions require the A17 Pro chip or at least an M1 chip or higher.

According to Apple’s list, support for three iPads that had received iPadOS 17 will be discontinued: the 10.5-inch iPad Pro, the second-generation 12.9-inch iPad Pro, and the sixth-generation iPad.
