After their coup against the hosts, Argentina recorded their next victory in Manchester against Finland with a 3-0 win and are thus confirmed as participants in the final tournament in Malaga.

In the first singles match of the day, Tomas Martin Etcheverry will face Eero Vasa. The world number 34 from Argentina initially struggled in his role as favorite against the Finn, who is ranked 360th. In the final doubles match, Argentina is aiming to qualify early for the final tournament in Malaga with a win. The Argentinian duo Andres Molteni and Maximo Gonzalez turned the party around after losing a set against the Finnish pairing Harri Heliovaara/Patrick Kaukovalta and won 6:7 (3), 6:4, 6:3.

The final match of Group D will decide who will travel to Malaga alongside Argentina. The British need a 3-0 win, while Canada only needs a single match win to reach the final tournament.
