The fire affected nearby power lines, so SaskPower and SaskEnergy responded to shut off power.

The fire caused about $200,000 in damage and the house has since been cordoned off for investigation, police said.

The cause of the fire is unknown, but anyone with information is asked to contact MJPS or Crime Stoppers.
