The record champions took the lead after just 14 (!) seconds. After kick-off, a long shot from Neuer found its way to Musiala, who executed it with ice-cold precision.

The 21-year-old thus won Bayern’s third earliest Bundesliga goal behind Matthäus (1986/13 seconds) and Giovane Elber (1998/11 seconds).

The storks were in shock and a mistake by Holtby led to the next Bayern goal. The experienced captain played a ball in front of his own sixteen yard box into the legs of Gnabry, who immediately passed it to Kane. The goal scorer converted confidently.

In the 13th minute, things got really bad for the hosts. Musiala left two opponents standing, ran to the byline and passed sharply inside. Remberg was in the wrong place at the wrong time – own goal.

Shortly before half-time, Kane increased the lead to 4-0 for the record champions with his second goal.

Bayern dominated the party in the first half without much effort.

After the restart, Kiel had their first chance to score. But Pichler’s dangerous header only hit the crossbar. But the guests quickly regained control of the game and took some of the pace out of the party, taking the wind out of the port city’s sails.

And every time Munich picked up the pace again, things got dangerous. Kiel tried to limit the damage.

Substitute Michael Olise made it 5-0 after a blocked Davies shot.

On the other hand, Armin Gigovic scored the consolation goal for Holstein Kiel in the 82nd minute before Harry Kane made it 6-1 with his third goal from the penalty spot.
