RNC reminds the public of the online application process for criminal record check – NTV

The RNC reminds anyone requiring a Criminal Record Check or Vulnerable Record Check certificate to apply online. The online application service is available 24 hours a day and offers a convenient and easily accessible option from home.

Applications cannot be processed at an RNC department as payments must be made online through the secure payment portal. The online portal also allows those who require a volunteer certificate to attach their agency exemption letter/volunteer letter to the application.

The online feature would be new for residents of Cox’s Cove, Gilliams, Humber Arm South, Hughes Brook, Irishtown-Summerside, Lark Harbour, Little Rapids, McIvers, Meadows, Pasadena, Steady Brook and York Harbour. For those who are unable to apply online, there is the option to apply by mail.

The RNC is currently experiencing a high volume of requests for criminal records and vulnerable sector checks. Requests are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please allow a processing time of at least 15 working days.
