On Sunday evening, volunteers meet again on the beach to clean up and collect garbage.

The National Park Administration, the Wadden Sea Conservation Station and the DLRG, together with volunteers, want to declare war on dirt and flotsam on the beach in St. Peter-Ording (North Frisia district) on Saturday. The whole thing is taking place as part of the so-called World Cleanup Day, which is an international event for cleaning up nature. The volunteers want to spend two hours cleaning up in St. Peter-Ording in the afternoon. The tourism center is providing waste containers, bags and other equipment.
