Unterföhring, September 13, 2024 – The fourth matchday of the Premier League is scheduled for the weekend on the island. Sky Sport will broadcast all ten matches in full, nine of them live.

The highlight of the matchday takes place on Sunday afternoon. That’s when the “Match of the Week” takes place in London, more precisely in the north of the capital. The derby between Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal FC is one of the biggest rivalries in English football. In the previous season, the two duels ended in a 2-2 draw and 3-2 for the “Gunners”, while Spurs celebrated their last victory in the derby in the 2021/22 season.

Presenter and commentator Markus Götz, together with Sky expert Shkodran Mustafi, who played for Arsenal for almost five years until 2021, and Raphael Honigstein, welcomed viewers to the duel at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium from 2:30 p.m. In addition to the broadcast on Sky Sport Premier League, the “Data Zone” for the game will be shown on Sky Sport Mix. Whether it’s possession of the ball, most passes or shots on goal – statistics fans can follow everything live here. The game will also be offered in UHD/HDR.

The matchday opens on Saturday afternoon at 1:20 p.m. with Manchester United’s match against newly promoted Southampton. Four parallel matches are scheduled to follow from 3:50 p.m. Then champions Manchester City will face Brentford FC, Liverpool FC will face Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace will face Leicester City. West Ham United and Niclas Füllkrug will compete in the small London derby in Fulham.

The other matches on Saturday will see Aston Villa face Everton FC from 6:20 p.m. and AFC Bournemouth face Chelsea FC from 8:50 p.m. To round off the matchday on Sunday, following the “Match of the Week,” Wolverhampton Wanderers will host Newcastle United.
