Loop timer with customizable time intervals

With the app “Tameno”, the software studio Eternal Storms has introduced a very special timer for users of Apple devices who want to associate repetitive tasks with clearly defined time intervals.

It sounds a bit wooden at first, but it’s easy to explain: Tameno reminds you to do certain things at intervals you specify. For example, changing quadrants when brushing your teeth or evenly stretching individual parts of the body when doing fitness exercises. An individual interval can be set for each of these activities. For example, when brushing your teeth, you can set each side of a quadrant to be cleaned for 20 seconds.

The principle can be applied to tasks: whether it is watering plants that all need to be watered for the same period of time or holding yoga poses – anything that is repeated at certain intervals that do not exceed 20 minutes can be easily structured with Tameno.

One of the key new features in the current version is the adaptation for iOS 18 with new buttons for the control center that are intended to provide quick access to the most recently used or preferred interval. An interactive widget is also available on the Apple Watch, which is supported from watchOS 11 onwards. This can be used to enter and start intervals directly in the Smart Stack.

Tameno App

The app is available for almost all Apple devices such as Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV.

Eternal Storms Software offers the app for a one-time purchase price of 3.99 euros, which includes use on all supported devices. Apple Watch users have the option of being reminded of the end of an interval by vibration. On iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV, acoustic signals and visual cues such as the screen flashing are available in addition to vibration.
