AGM Pad T1: New Android tablet launches with Widevine L1 and dual SIM support

AGM has a new tablet on offer. The Pad T1 is a relatively conventional tablet, so it is not a rugged system. The manufacturer is particularly promoting the Widevine L1 certification, which enables streaming content from Netflix, for example, to be played at full resolution. This is an FHD+ tablet, and the manufacturer specifies the resolution as 1,200 x 1,920 pixels. It is a tablet with an 11-inch screen, and a particularly high frame rate or brightness are not affected.

A Unisoc Tiger T606 is used, the performance of which is limited. At least 4G is supported, and it can also be used in two mobile networks and with two SIM cards at the same time. At 4 gigabytes, the RAM is limited, and the built-in 128 gigabyte internal memory is probably large enough for many applications. Android 14 is a modern operating system, and users should probably not hope for major updates to the operating system.

The tablet is 7.35 millimeters thick and the casing is made of metal. The weight is given as 477 grams. Two speakers promise a decent sound, and a headset or speaker can be connected via a classic jack connection. The main camera has a resolution of 13 megapixels, the front camera has 5 megapixels.
