American Football – New elections: Mario Riesner is the new chairman of the Blue Hawks

The official start of the 2025 season for the football players from Schönfeld took place at the end of August. In addition to the kick-off meeting, at which some sporting changes were also presented, a new board had to be elected during an extraordinary general meeting.

Simon Spalenka, who had previously held the position of chairman, voluntarily stepped down in order to be able to concentrate more on his sporting goals within the club. His previous deputy Mario Riesner has therefore taken over the leadership of the club. Together with his new deputy Alois Niederberger, he now wants to drive the AFC Blue Hawks forward.
