For Windows 11, Microsoft releases one new version per year. Each version will then supported for 2 yearsat least this applies to the mainly privately used Versions Windows 11 Home and ProThe Pro Workstation, Pro Education and SE versions also come with 24 months of support.

This way, there are always two versions of Windows 11 running in parallel. Currently, these are Windows 11 22H2 and Windows 11 23H2. Windows 11 24H2 is expected to be released around the end of support for Windows 11 22H2.

For companies or educational institutions that use versions of Windows 11 Enterprise or Windows 11 Education, the Support for every Windows 11 version 3 years.

Accordingly, the Windows 11 version will also be discontinued in the fall. In the case of companies, however, this will be Windows 11 21H2, for which updates will also be available for the last time on October 8, 2024. Windows 11 22H2 for companies will be supported until October 14, 2025.
