The tragic incident occurred on Monday in Masaka area where Magaji was found hanging in a classroom at Crystal School. A staff member of the school reported the incident and led police to the scene. The body was subsequently taken to Mararaba General Hospital where medical staff pronounced her dead.

DSP Nansel Ramhan, the police spokesman, said a thorough investigation had been launched to discover the real cause of Magaji’s death. No suicide note was found at the crime scene.

Speculations emerged on social media that Magaji’s decision to end his life was related to the discovery that his wife was having extramarital affairs with his friends for financial gain.
