Schlager, Blue Light Day and True Crime

On Friday, September 13th, Wittenberge will be hosting two special events. The event in the Alte Ölmühle at 8 p.m. is even a small sensation: the TV station RTL Up will be presenting Schlagerliebe Live there.

RTL Up brings many pop stars to Wittenberge

The stage of the Alte Ölmühle, where the Elbland Festival will be presented in July, can accommodate up to 5,000 people. Shooting star Sonia Liebing will be there, as will Vincent Gross, the two-time No. 1 artist from Switzerland. Olaf the Flipper, known from the band Die Flippers, will also be performing.

Also taking part are: Anna-Carina Woitschack, Ramon Roselly, Wolfgang Ziegler, Daniel Munoz, Kevin Neon, Jay Khan, Jenice, Pia Malo, Die Schlagerboys, Michael Holm, Francine Jordi, Joey Heindle, Neonlicht and Paulina Wagner. The show will be hosted by Steffi Brungs and Norman Langen. Tickets are still available, including at the box office, which opens on Friday from 5 p.m., and admission is from 6 p.m.

At the same time, starting at 7:30 p.m., Wladimir Kaminer will be a guest at the Culture and Festival Hall and will be presenting his “Kaminer Show”. “Wladimir Kaminer is not only one of the most successful German authors, but also one of the hardest-working. The bestselling author has sold several million books since 2000. “As a true entertainer, he always manages to strike a balance between hilarious situations and social criticism,” says the organizer.

In his stage shows, the author often presents spontaneous stories that are only a few hours old. He engages his guests with detailed descriptions of situations, lots of charm and intelligent humor and takes them on a journey.

Volunteer exchange Pritzwalk and boxing in Perleberg

Also on Friday, the 2nd volunteer exchange “Committed to Pritzwalk: priceless!” will take place in the gymnasium of the Freiherr-von-Rochow comprehensive school in Pritzwalk. From 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., visitors can talk to local clubs, actors and institutions and exchange ideas about volunteer opportunities.

In Perleberg, weather permitting, the Redtel Boxing Club will be holding boxing competitions from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. in its open-air boxing ring on Lindenstrasse. The boxing club’s players are already extremely successful at national and state level – they want to prove themselves against good opponents in the competitions and take further steps towards the German championships. Due to the event, there may be closures in the area of ​​Lindenstrasse and Hamburger Strasse.

Blue light family invites you to Perleberg

On September 14th, the police department and the Prignitz district administration are inviting people to a joint emergency services day on their premises at Berliner Strasse 49 and 51. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., visitors can expect numerous exhibitions and technical demonstrations from the emergency services family of the Northern Police Directorate and the Prignitz district.

The Federal Agency for Technical Relief, the fire service, the rescue service, the German Red Cross, the fire and disaster control service, the explosive ordnance disposal service, the police academy and the water rescue service will be presenting themselves there. There will be a rescue simulator to experience, the coding of bicycles, police technology, radio patrol cars, the water police’s emergency boat and water cannons. An introduction of the police dog handler and the landing of the police helicopter are also planned.

The police prevention puppet theater and a craft station will help to entertain the young visitors. The State Police Orchestra will provide musical accompaniment for the event.

600 years of Sadenbeck and Diakoniefest

On September 14th, the Pritzwalker district of Sadenbeck will also be celebrating its 600th anniversary from 10 a.m. with the acceptance of the children’s and youth flame, the parade with the Kyritzer musicians, bouncy castle, coffee table and dancing.

On September 15th, a festival of the Diakonie will be held in Perleberg in and around the Jacobi Church. In addition to a church service, there will be a discussion with representatives from the church, politics and the Diakonie. Deserving Diakonie employees will receive the Crown Cross. There will be an opportunity to chat over coffee and cake. At the end, children from Perleberg will perform the musical Bartimaeus.

“Bloodstains Tour” in Wittenberge with experts

The Wittenberge Culture and Festival Hall organized a blood trail tour on Sunday. Forensic pathologist Prof. Dr. Klaus Püschel, experienced court reporter Gisela Friedrichsen and criminal judge Stefan Caspari have announced that they will be taking part in this special true crime event. Moderated by true crime talker Dr. Tino Grosche, the insiders will reconstruct real crimes.

The audience experiences first hand how crimes are re-enacted, causes of death are discovered and perpetrators are convicted. It is about serial murders that have their origins in the north of Germany. It is about cannibals and those who have been wrongly convicted.
