Netflix’s escapist romantic comedy may be titled “Emily in Paris,” but the second part of the fourth season takes Emily and the audience on a vacation to Rome.

“It’s time for Emily Cooper (Lily Collins) to update her language learning app, because our favorite American in Paris travels to a new European destination: Rome in Season 4 of Emily in Paris,” Netflix says of the upcoming episodes, adding that her trip to Rome is an homage to Audrey Hepburn.

Series creator Darren Star told Netflix’s Tudum that he felt a connection between Collins and Hepburn and between their films and the series.

“I’ve always felt this wonderful kinship, not just between Lily and Audrey Hepburn, but with the spirit of those films, that ‘Old Hollywood’ feel, and Emily in Paris,” Star said. “I think Audrey Hepburn captured it so well in her films like Roman Holiday and Charade. Her films were romantic comedies, and they were sophisticated and international.”

Collins told Netflix’s “Tudum” that for her, “this is the year when Emily really becomes her most vulnerable.”

“Emily is feeling more emotions – everyone is feeling more emotions this year,” Collins said of Season 4. “There’s more honesty and openness in all the situations they go through.”

What happens in “Emily in Paris” Part 2?
