Joy Behar tells Chris Christie to ‘shut up’ for not explicitly saying he will vote for Harris

“The View” co-host Joy Behar told former Republican New Jersey Governor Chris Christie to “shut up” after he did not explicitly say he planned to vote for her following the debate between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Trump.

“Do you think you’re going to vote for her now?” asked co-host Sunny Hostin, and Christie replied, “I’m still an undecided voter.”

Behar quickly shouted “Oh, shut up” and “Stop it” before booing him. Christie joined the hosts of “The View” on Wednesday to discuss the Harris-Trump debate, which he said was a win for the vice president and would help sway undecided voters.

“I know you all want me to make a big announcement, but what I will tell you is that I will not vote for Donald Trump,” said Christie, a vocal critic of the former president.

“The View” co-host Joy Behar on Wednesday told former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie to “shut up” after he refused to say he would vote for Vice President Kamala Harris.

Sunny Hostin vents her anger on “The View” about Charlama, the Great God, not supporting Biden: “That was irresponsible.”

The moderators have criticized Christie in the past for refusing to endorse President Biden when he was still in the race.

Christie said on July 19 that he had no plans to vote for Trump or Biden. Biden withdrew in late July after a disastrous debate performance against the former president.

“But you have to choose!” Behar told Christie during the July exchange.

“No, I will vote for the lower list. I don’t have to vote [for president]no!” Christie said, standing firm as one of the co-hosts could be heard telling him, “Yes, you do.”

“You can’t throw your voice away! I asked you last time, Chris, and this time you want to sit out?” Hostin said at the time, drowning him out.

Christie told co-hosts on Wednesday that Harris appeared well prepared, while Trump did not.

While he advised Harris to stop pushing for a second debate as it would give Trump a chance to improve, he added that there are several things Harris could do that could help her.

“The American people are forgiving and understanding. The Biden administration has made some mistakes. It should admit them and say it will do better,” he said, referring to the withdrawal from Afghanistan.

“She could gain more credibility with people by saying, ‘Look, that was a mistake and I learned from it and I’m going to do better when I’m president,'” he added. “When you talk about changing positions on certain issues, I would like her to respond by saying, ‘You know what? I’ll change some of my positions if it helps me bring the country together. If it helps me bring people together.'”
