Shannon Sharpe denies live streaming sex videos on his Instagram and insists he was hacked

Shannon Sharpe has claimed his Instagram was hacked after an apparent sex act was live-streamed on the account on Wednesday.

In the footage, which has now found its way to X, no faces are visible, but a man and a woman sound like they are getting intimate.

The woman can be heard moaning throughout the video and at other points she appears to say the name Shannon.

Still, the camera was pointed at the ground for most of the clip – and the ex-NFL star said he was hacked.

“Beware, my Instagram @shannonsharpe84 was hacked this morning, my team and I are working hard to figure this out – UNC,” Sharpe posted on his Instagram story before deleting his message.

A screen recording from Instagram Live shows that at times more than 6,500 people were watching the video simultaneously.

Sharpe, 56, has never been married and explained why in an episode of his Club Shay Shay podcast last year.

“I would have loved to get married earlier in my career, but my career was the most important thing,” he told Chad Johnson. “So I was no good. I was a terrible father, I was probably a terrible brother, a terrible son – I was definitely a terrible friend. Because football was the most important thing.”

“It obsessed me because I wanted to free my grandmother and my family from the conditions they were in.”

“… Many women told me they could be happy being number 2 in football. But when it came down to it and they saw how committed I was, they couldn’t.”

Sharpe went on to say that he now wants someone with whom he can share his success and wealth.
