Updates for Polyend Tracker+, Tracker & Tracker Mini

Updates were released today for the sampling grooveboxes Polyend Tracker+, Tracker and Tracker Mini. This means that the range of functions of the three models is becoming more similar. However, the lists of bug fixes are longer than the lists of new features.

Polyend Tracker+ 1.0.2

There are only two major changes for the top model. The synth engines have received performance FX. There are separate effects, including delay/reverb sends, for all three internal synths. There is also a “cosmetic” update for the sample instrument and the MIDI perform FX. All synth init patch macros are now unipolar.

Polyend Tracker 1.9.0

With four additional MIDI tracks, up to 12 MIDI tracks per pattern are now available. The destination has been added for each FX description dialog. The Instrument Synthesizer function (in the Instrument Parameters/Effects screen) has been renamed to Instrument MIDI Mapping to distinguish it from the Synth Instrument on the Tracker+.

Polyend Tracker Mini 2.0.1

The smallest model in the series has the most changes. The Rendering Selection function in the Pattern Editor has been reworked to create a clean cut at the beginning and end of the selected section. However, the Export Song/Pattern function retains the previous behavior of this option, so that the tails of samples and effects are preserved.

These issues have been fixed: Previewing samples on the Pattern page while the cursor was on one of the MIDI #9-16 tracks caused the preview function on the Sample Playback page to stop working. Fixed note hangs on MIDI and synth notes when using an external keyboard. Fixed the issue with the backspace key (Shift+Delete) not working on events below the 32nd step on MIDI #9-16 tracks.

The bug fixes implemented for the Tracker+ and Tracker models are listed on the Polyend download page. There are still a few known issues with the Tracker+ that will probably only be addressed with the next update.
