Olive oil brand Buttinale 73 is launched, ex-Kodi manager is managing director

The two entrepreneurs Stefan Hamacher and Norbert Pernstich have jointly founded Buttinale 73 GmbH, based in the Italian Paciano Founded, a new company dedicated to the production and distribution of high-quality olive oil from the Italian region of Umbria. The products have so far only been available through the online shop, but they are now also being launched in selected specialist shops and food retailers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The current focus is on making the products available in the new sales channels in the coming months.

The managing director of Buttinamel 73 GmbH is Babak Kharabi. Before a short interlude at Lidl, where he started as Executive Vice President Purchasing a few months ago, the manager worked for Kodi discount stores for over six years, most recently as Managing Director (CPO, Edeka Head of Purchasing / Head of Brand and Own Brand Product Division and at Rewe Category Manager).

Kharabi: “With the expansion of our distribution network, we look forward to further expanding the Buttinale 73 brand and making it accessible to an even wider audience. The aim is not only to offer a first-class product, but also to convey the enthusiasm and the story behind it.” The planned expansion is intended to sustainably strengthen Buttinale 73’s presence in the DACH region.
