NOTICE to editors: Reporting and medal decision at WorldSkills 2024 Lyon – AUDIO/VIDEO/IMAGE

Team Austria, the Austrian national professional team, has been in Lyon since Saturday: The 47 red-white-red participants, who are competing in 41 individual and team professions, are fully trained young professionals up to the age of 22 (no more apprentices, some participants come from vocational schools). On Monday, the local professional aces familiarized themselves with the competition area for the first time.

A look at the rest of the WorldSkills week:

• Tuesday, 10 September (from 7pm): Opening of the 47th WorldSkills in Lyon with the “Opening Ceremony” (official livestream).
• Wednesday, 11.09., to Saturday, 14.09.: On four competition days, our 47 Austrian participants will be in action every day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to complete their competition tasks, modules and workpieces.
• Sunday, 15.09.: The results and medal winners will be announced at the “Closing ceremony“ (start: 7 p.m.) was published. You can also follow this event via live stream (link from the organizer will follow).
• Immediately after the event, you will receive all the results of the Austrian participants by email or on this OTS channel. The results should be available by around 8 p.m.: They will only be published at the event – there is no advance information.
